This page says what we collect, why, and who helps us run the site. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell or swap personal information.

Reading the site

• You can read every free page without an account.

Advertising

If advertising is switched on, visitors who are not members may see ads from Google AdSense. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info. Where the law needs it, we ask before any ad cookie is set. Members see no ads.

Members

• Your email address, to sign you in with a link and to send receipts, renewal reminders and membership notices.
• Your membership status (plan, start, renewal and end dates), so the paid parts unlock for you.
• Payments are handled by Polar, the merchant of record. We never see or store your card details. Polar tells us the order, the plan and the email it was paid with.
• If you tick the box to get our emails, we keep that choice and the exact wording you agreed to, and every email has a one click unsubscribe.

Who processes data for us

• Supabase: accounts and the membership record. [legal check: storage region from Supabase's documents]
• Polar: payments, receipts and subscriptions.
• Resend: sending sign in links, receipts and the emails you asked for.
• Vercel: hosting the site.
• Google AdSense: ads for visitors who are not members, only if switched on.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account at any time. Email support@sundrymill.com.
